Najma Mansoor, the first Sahib-e-Kuliyat poetess in the literary history of Sargodha, is on the rise in terms of prose poetry. Najama Mansoor was born on November 8, 1925 in Sargodha. She passed Matriculation from Government Girls High School 27/29 Block Sargodha. She passed F.A and B.A from Government College for Women, Chandni Chowk, while M.A History from Government College, Sargodha. After receiving education, he adopted the field of teaching.
She is primarily a poetess of prose poetry. She started her creative journey in 1959 with "سپنے اور آنکھیں" and published five collections of poetry in a row. In the first collection, he was also honored that his word was written by a person like Dr. Wazir Agha. According to him:
"She (Najma Mansoor) has adopted the most modern paradigm of prose poetry from the very beginning of her literary journey (I call it prose poetry Contral Latif). It is a brand new voice in the literary atmosphere of Sargodha."
In 2012 Najma Mansoor's complete collection of poetry was published, in which the opinions of seventeen important writers was also given. During this time, her literary journey was not limited to poetry, but she also has a distinct identity as an excellent research scholar.Her books "انسائیکلو پیڈیا آف اسلام" and "اقوال زریں کا انسائیکلوپیڈیا" are authentic and solid reference to this. An English translation of his book of poetry, "اگر نظموں کے پر ہوتے", has also been published under the title "If the Poem Have Wings ".
"Najma Mansoor has her own identity in Urdu prose poetry. Her poetry also has a modern consciousness and a story of inner journey. Moreover, she is a good compiler."
چڑیا کے پروں پر لکھی نظمیں
ذی شان ساحل!
تم ہمیشہ
خواب دیکھنے کے لیے
مناسب فضا کھوجتے رہے
صرف اس ڈر سے
کہیں خوابوں کی کریش لینڈنگ سے آس پڑوس کی چڑیاں
جورنگ برنگے تنکوں سے خواب بنتی ہیں
مر نہ جائیں اس لیے تم نے نظمیں لکھ کر انھیں
خوابوں کی صورت دیوار پر ٹا تک و یا
ذی شان ساحل!
سوچو
کیارات میں دیکھے ہوۓ
اور دن میں دیکھے ہوۓ خواب
ایک جیسے ہو سکتے ہیں
شاید یہ جاننے کے لیے تمھیں
خوابوں کو وقت کے پنڈولم پر رکھنا پڑے
یا پھر
دن اور رات کی علیحدہ علیحدہ مچان لگا
کر خوابوں کی کلیڈ وسکوپی کر نا پڑے
اگر پھر بھی پتا نہ چلے
تو تمہیں
انھیں غروب ہوتے ہوئے سورج کے حوالے کرنا ہوگا
شاید اس طرح
تمھیں ان آسانی خوابوں کی
زمینی تعبیر معلوم ہو سکے ذیشان ساحل!
تمھارے خواب اور تمھاری نظمیں بھی
چڑیوں کے پروں پر لکھی
شور مچاتی وہ کہانیاں ہیں جو تم نے
گھومتے ہوۓ گلوب پر
بیٹھ کر لکھیں
جیسے چڑ یا کمرے کے روشندان میں
گھونسلا بناتی ہے
تمھارے خواب اورنظمیں تمھاری آنکھوں میں
گھر بناتے ہیں
چونکہ خواب دیکھنا اورنظمیں لکھنا
تمھارے لیے کسی خواب ہی کی طرح ہے
اس لیے
تمھارے خوابوں اور تمھاری نظموں کو دیمک نہیں کھاتی!
