Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi's personality was a practical expression of a great man
Man, in which the element of humanity prevails and the anti-human element of narcissism almost annihilates, his essence takes the form of ongoing charity. Man and humanity was the center and goal of his intellectual endeavors and ideological endeavors.
Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi was a poet, journalist, literary critic, dramatist and short story author. His real name is Ahmed Shah and his sir name is Nadeem. He was born in 1916 in a small village Anga in Khushab District. He studied Quran in the mosque of his village.His Dad died at the age of seven. He was brought up by his uncle. He also read Qur'anic commentary from his uncle while studying at Government Middle and Normal School Campbellpur. He matriculated from Government High School Sheikhupura. Meanwhile, his first poem which was written on the death of Maulana Muhammad Ali Johar was published.
He entered Sadiq Egerton College, Bahawalpur in 1931 from where he did BA in 1935. When he said goodbye to his native village and reached Lahore, it was time to go on hunger strike several times but his pride prevented him from informing anyone about his condition. In those days he met Akhtar Sherani. He (Akhtar Sherani) loved him very much and encouraged him a lot. Qasmi Sahib was already a fan of Akhtar Sherani's poetry. His affectionate attitude made Qasmi Sahib very close to him personally.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi met Imtiaz Ali Taj, who offered him the editorship of his monthly magazine, Phool, which he accepted. Flower was a children's magazine. During his one year tenure, Qasmi Sahib wrote many poems for children which were very popular among the children.
He is one of the progressive writers. He made a name for himself in poems, lyrics, fiction, columns, articles, letters and columns. She was the editor of "Tahzeeb Niswan", "Phool", "Adab Latif", "Naqush" and "Amrooz" magazines. Your fiction deals with the unequal distribution of rich and poor, criticism of capitalism and contradictions between outward and inward. He published more than a dozen books. Some of his works have also been translated into foreign languages, winning applause for him in foreign countries. Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi passed away on July 10, 2006 at the age of 90 after a short illness

زندگی شمع کی مانند جلاتا ہوں ندیم
بجھ تو جاؤں گا مگر صبح تو کر جاؤں گا
میں مر بھی جاؤں تو تخلیق سے نہ باز آؤں
بنیں گے نت نئے خاکے مرے غبار سے بھی

عمر بھر سنگ زنی کرتے رہے اہل وطن
