 ہمارے بیچ کہیں فاصلہ ہوا ہو گا

یہ آسمان کے چہرے کا رنگ سرخ جو ہے

 زمیں پر آج کوئی سانحہ ہوا ہو گا

ہمارے سامنے تو بات مشوروں تک تھی

 ہمارے بعد کوئی فیصلہ ہوا ہو گا

کوئی درخت سلامت نہیں بچا آخر 

خزاں ریتوں کا کوئی سلسلہ ہوا ہو گا

جیب شور حسن آ رہا ہے آنکھوں سے 

دیار دل میں کوئی حادثہ ہوا ہو گا

Syed Murtaza Hasan is prominent among the young people who came to the limelight in the literary activities of Sargodha. After 2004, he made his mark with the help of his young colleagues in  teaching, poetry and especially Zulfiqar Ahsan, Abid Khurshid, Arshad Mahmood Arshad, Asher Wakil Rao and others. His journey began on July 16, 1986 from the satellite town Sargodha. His father Syed Muhammad Taqi Shah was a well-known personality of the area.  Murtaza Hasan received his primary education from Sir Syed Model School, Sargodha and later passed his matriculation from Jama High School. After doing FA and BA, Murtaza did his MA in Urdu in 2008 and then in the same university he obtained his degree by writing a research paper entitled ""سرگودھا میں آپ بتی کی روایت" . 

While serving as a teacher in a Muslim college, he is also writing a research paper for PhD entitled "جدید شہر آشوب ". It should be remembered that he also taught Urdu in Federal Government Degree College Kamra Cantt for some time. Also served as Headmaster in Government High School 75 South and as Urdu Lecturer in Punjab College Sargodha. In organizing the fortnightly meetings of the Sargodha Writers Club, Murtaza Hassan
Has demonstrated full potential. Being in constant contact with ladies and gentlemen is a difficult task which Murtaza Hasan successfully completed. Actively participated in the meetings of Arbab Zouk and Asher Vakil Rad's organization "Wasal". 

Murtaza Hasan is a modern poet. They also have the ability to write fiction and essays. His critical essays are also valuable. He was honored with Asalib Award 2012 and Kamran Adabi Award 2014. His MPhil research and critical thesis " Tradition of biography  in Sargodha" has been published  in the book form.

Murtaza Hasan has enriched the Writers Club with the growth of blood and liver. Syed Murtaza Hasan's poetry is a poetry of modern style in which contemporary themes, stylistic diversity and appropriate use of words bring new aspects to the fore.In poetry, Professor Tariq Habib keeps reforming and consulting. Apart from poetry, Murtaza Hasan also writes fiction and criticism. His fictions can be described as very beautiful fictions with respect to their plot and characters. His poetry and fictions are printed in various literary magazines of the country, including the style of white stick literature, poetry, Angare, "Don", and "Wasal".

ان صحراؤں میں بادل مت آیا کر

 گر آنا ہو تو پھر کھل کر برسا کر

کیوں ان کو یوں دور سے دیکھتا رہتا ہے

 ان پیڑوں کی چھاؤں میں بھی بیٹھا کر

تجھ پر بھی ساری تعبیریں کھل جائیں گی

 تو بھی ان آنکھوں کے اندر دیکھا کر

اس دنیا کے اندر بھی اک دنیا ہے

 اس دنیا کے بارے میں بھی سوچا کر

پاس بہت جانے سے اس میں کھو جائے گا 

اس منظر کو دور ہی رہ کر دیکھا کر

یہ سن کر تیری آنکھیں نہ بھر آئیں

 مجھ سے مل کر میرا حال نہ پوچھا کر

تیرے خوابوں پر نہ پہرے لگ جائیں

 ان بستی والوں سے چھپ کر سویا کر

میں تو مرتے لمحوں کا اک نوحہ ہوں

 سننے والے مجھ کو پڑھ کر رویا کر
